Since the night, I answered the knock at my front door, nearly 10 years ago to find an elegant woman with a radiant smile standing there, we were joined at the heart in friendship that would be the best friend I’ve ever had. The night we met on my front porch she looked me straight in the eye, as she always did, and said “yes, this is the place I wasn’t sure I had the right house, but you’re the one I saw on the brochure.” I think this is where I’m supposed to be.“We both laughed, and that began a friendship that we’ve both enjoyed through these past 9 years.
. She was the friend. I laughed with, cried with, shared my heart with and was blessed by the moments I could do the same for her. She was smart and kind and funny and creative. And may I say a bit of a diva ( I say this in the kindest way) actually she could be quite a diva! L O L by that I mean she was “particular “. L O L she knew what she wanted and she wouldn’t rest till she got it exactly right. I love that about her. You never had to guess where you stood with her on any topic or what she wanted in any situation because she would tell you.
She wasn’t fake and if she loved you, there was nothing she wouldn’t do for you. Her kids and grandkids were her world. Next to Jesus they were the most important part of her life. Losing her has been one of the most difficult things I’ve faced in life so far. And I will never forget her.
I love you Janny
