I'll miss his ever ready smile and quick hug hello. Good men like Jerry Hinson just don't grow on trees any more and nowadays and are about as rare as winning the lottery. Reliable as the sun coming up and always with the same sunny disposition to share with everyone he met along the way. If he had a bad day you never knew it. I love and will forever cherish memories of all your trips to Florida to visit me, playing cutthroat Spades, fishing and relaxing at the picnic table under the beach hut. That one long drive down to be with and console me when Mama Myrt passed away, it meant the world to me. It's so hard to imagine Annette without Jerry. Being loved by someone and loving them, caring and being cared for….what better life could one have. Fifty nine years filled with so much love and devotion. Building a life together few could match, and a marriage enviable to many of us who failed at it. There's now a hole in the heart of this wonderful family that will never again be filled. Draw some comfort my dear ones in knowing he is now with all those he loved who went before and waited for him in heaven.
