Sherrie Clewis Durell
I have two crazy memories of Jerry. One, most likely summer afternoon, Jerry was chasing me around our back yards when I was a child. I turned my head to see how close he was to catching me and when I turned back around I ran all over a pine tree. My entire nose was missing all of its skin. :) And believe me,we laughed and he mentioned it to me often over the years. The other is when Jerry drove me and my mother across town to my doctors office near the Presbyterian hospital in a rush. I had been bitten by a Black Widow spider that was in my shoe and my Mother was simply too nervous to drive. Jerry was a very special Man and always had a smile on his face every time I saw him. I will always think fondly of both Jerry and Judy when I think of my childhood in Town Park and at Paw Creek Presbyterian Church. Praying for the family and church congregation during this time.
