Rose and family, I am sorry for your loss. Jim was a bigger than life character. He was our claims manager at Compsource/Riscorp/TheZenith. He took us fishing, threw blowout parties, and tried to deal with us as people, not just employees.
So very sorry to see this void in your family! Though I did not know Jesse, I knew his son through Brady Wetzel and I have dropped Brady off there many times. Jim was a great friend and a great neighbor. Him and I could talk for hours about fishing or projects we were doing around the house. He was a good father to his kids and have prepared them for life's greatest challenges. He will be missed. God speed my friend

I worked with Jim for several years at Sedgwick. I looked up to him and he was always there to give advice. He touched so many lives in the very best way. I'm grateful I got the chance to know him as both a colleague and a friend.
I worked with Jim at the Charlotte Sedgwick office. He was kind, funny,and was always there to give advice. I looked up to him. He will be greatly missed.

I'm a former employee of Sedgwick's Charlotte office and never forgot Jim. He was one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. I didn't work under him, but his office was always open to anyone. We often talked and he gave some good advice. When days and life got crazy, he would always have something to say tgat kept your sanity. He always talked about his wife and children; they meant the world to him. I send prayers of comfort to his family and friends. To be absent from the flesh, is to be present with the Lord. The troubles of this world no longer belong to Jim, he walking in heaven on streets paved in gold.
Jim was such a great man. I will miss talking with him about smoking various meats and hearing about things he was working on. As for memories I guess one that sticks more than most is when I watched him put a go cart together like it was nothing. I thought wow this guy can do anything and do just about anything. It was truly a blessing to have know Jim.
Thanks to Jim and the Thomas family for all the fun memories with the kids growing up together. I was blessed to have you as neighbors and friends. I learned more about boats and fishing over a beer with Jim, than a year with a pole. Seemed like he could do anything. Rebuild a truck, finish a basement, run a business, and be a true friend. Thanks to Jim and Rose for dealing with all the energy when Zack and Jesse got together. Great memories for both kids. I will keep you in my prayers, but know that Jim is in a better place now. Rex
