Jesse Thomas III's Obituary
Jesse James (Jim) Thomas III, 60, of Mooresville, passed away on Thursday April 7, 2022.
Jim was born in Salisbury and resided in Siler City and Dunn NC with his parents and siblings.
Later attended and graduated from NC State with a degree in Business Management. He was employed at Sedgwick Claims Management Services. Widely known for his expertise in Workers Compensation claims and an Industry Advisor to the NC Industrial Commission. Jim was an avid angler who enjoyed fishing for striped bass on LKN and saltwater fishing on his beloved NC coast. He was also an accomplished woodworker and carpenter, building furniture and structures for his home. Spending time with his family was his greatest joy. He was preceded in death by his mother, Martha G. Thomas.
Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Rose of 25 years and two children, Amelia, and Jesse both of Mooresville, his father Jesse James Thomas II of Wilmington NC, sister Andrea and her husband Fred Turner of Charlotte and brother, Steven Blair of Wilmington NC. Along with many loving Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on April 12, 2022, at James funeral Home in Huntersville NC. Visitation from 1:00-2:00 pm, services from 2:00-3:00 pm with reception to follow.
