We have many, many memories of Jimmy and Diana as their neighbors for ten years in South Carolina. Our neighborhood got together pretty much every month for a holiday party or social event. You both always had the best Halloween costumes!!! We are so blessed for all those great times and wonderful memories!! You guys were the best neighbors ever! Kris learned so much from Jimmy! Everything on caring for our house and yard, cars, and even computers. We were so sad when you moved, but so happy for you to be closer to your girls and grandchildren!
Your dedication to the Lake Wylie Children's Charity was always remarkable! We made a donation in honor of Jimmy.
Our hearts hurt so much for your family. Jimmy is finally out of pain and with those loved ones that past before him... and even all the furbabies! Regretfully we can not make the Service. We watched the video shared here and cried.. and smiled...we will miss Jimmy and send our love and prayers to Diana and the family.
Jimmy usually knew “the scoop” first because we’d sit on the porch and chat while mama played with the babies. So many porch chats over the years. He was there through the good and the bad and made sure I knew he was proud of me. I’ve been thinking of the day he drove me all over Charlotte (20+ years ago!) dropping off resumes until I found a job. He loved me and loved my babies and man did he love my mom.
I’m gonna miss my baby brother. That smile and the cute little smirk he makes when he is up to no good. So many memories. Cancer Sucks. Prayers for our family who loved him.
When our parents moved from their Charlotte home, we were cleaning out the attic. Jimmy used ropes to lower heavy items down the attic stairs. I am not sure how dad was able to move these items up the stairs! Jimmy will be missed!!! Becky Waynick Craig
Jimmy was loved by so many and he shared memories with each and everyone. His heart was filled with love. Sometimes, it's the small gestures that make the biggest impressions. One memory that will always make me smile is when he gave my daughter a mini kitchen set as a surprise gift. We hustled around to keep it hid as we managed to keep it covered under a sheet as he fed my kids candy to keep them occupied. The biggest smile on her face as she opened it for Christmas will always remind me that he had the biggest heart !! He will truly be missed. Prayers for his family. Love you all!
