Dear Marie, I received your Christmas card today signed "Marie Beard." I immediately knew something had happened. Trusting Google, I typed in John's name and this popped up. He's been gone almost a year and I never knew. I'm sorry we lost touch and I couldn't share with him (and you) how much your love and friendship meant to Kelly and me. And then to me after losing Kelly. You've already been through every holiday without him so you've experienced all the emotions that go along with them. I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing. So many memories - family road trip, golf days, fun times. It was always a pleasure being around John. He was always quick to help a friend - like the time my car's back windshield was demolished by a huge rock from a lawnmower, and he completely covered it for me so no rain could ruin the inside until I could have it replaced. He will be missed by everyone who knew him. And he was a devoted family man. Praying for your loss, Marie, as well as for the entire family.

As the saying goes, "They broke the mold with they made John Beard". He was full of laughter and fun and always had a way of making people happy. Heaven has gained a very fun angel loved by all.
