My best memory is the day I realized I had a very special son! His heart was made of gold, he was smart, great in sports, gave unconditional love and loved our Lord, Jesus.
He loved life! My son, Lee Hoke was a gift from God that every mother would love to have! Gone to soon.
Lee, you immediately welcomed me as part of the family. Funny conversations around the dinner table, the Chicago concert you were so excited to take Angela & me to. It was a magical night. I will miss the hugs, your smile, and the conversations at our family's favorite restaurant. I recently enjoyed a few of your blackberries from your garden. Although it is impossible to process why you are gone so soon, I understand your heart, Lee. I know I will someday attend with you & Jesus the most majestic and beautiful concert my eyes will ever see! I love you, my brother.

Prayers of Love & Light to lift Lee's family and friends during this difficult time. Lee & I went to college together at UNCW. Three of us even made a road trip from Wilmington on the spur of the moment one weekend, to his Dad's house once our sophomore year for a quick visit.
Lee's smile always brightened the room when he entered it. His fraternity Brothers & Sisters all thought highly of him. He made all of us laugh and was so fun to be around.

Lee was distantly related to me thru his mother Gail (Bostian)....We were Friends/Classmates(High School)/Roommates(College)/Chi Phi Fraternity Brothers at UNCW........Lee was known for having a fun time and making everyone around him Laugh......Thank You Brother Lee....I bet you've got everyone in Heaven laughing right now........See you again soon my Friend!!
I remember when he got me (Chase) and Cal a new football to play with. He brought it over to Paw Paws and we played catch for a little bit! We had a great time and he was so happy to play catch with us!
I’m at loss of words. You were the best friend anyone could ever have. I wish we had more time. I will always cherish our memories and great times. RIP Brother
