Jonathan Marshall's Obituary
Jonathan Charles Marshall, 48 of Huntersville died August 6, 2020. He was born in New Jersey on May 31, 1972 to Charles "Chip" and Sharon Marshall.
Jon was loved by all and lived life to the fullest. He achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in Troop 68, Arlington, Texas. He graduated from Texas A&M University class of 1994 and was a yellowpot for Aggie Bonfire and Ski Club president. Jon joined Scott Equipment Company in 1990 and rose to level of Vice President of Engineering and Operations. Scott Equipment was more than just a place to work, they were family to Jon. Jon was an avid cyclist and was most proud of completing the Race Across the Sky in Leadville, Colorado. He also enjoyed scuba diving with his family in Grand Cayman every year. An engineer to the core, his house is methodically organized with Lego sets, robots, and circuit boards. He dove into everything that interested him head-first and never did anything half-way. He was always kind, friendly, generous and loyal to the core.
In addition to his parents, survivors include his siblings, Dr. Gary Thomas Marshall, Laura Anne Grooms, Brother-in-law, Jay Grooms, nephew, Jack Grooms, niece, Allison Grooms, Uncle, Philip Holmes.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Monday, August 10 in the chapel of James Funeral Home with visitation to follow.
