I met Joe at UD. His dad was the top republican in the county and my dad was one of the top democrats; we got along great. As the years passed we lost contact until Joe reached out to me. We met for a beer and it didn’t seem like 25 years passed. Joe always had a great smile and laugh. He will be missed. My condolences to Sue and the family.

I am very sorry and saddened to hear about Joe's passing. I truly have a lot of respect for Joe. Such a kind and compassionate person. I'm so glad we got to know one another on the School Board. His friendship is something I will always cherish. As friends, we had many laughs and shared some deep thoughts. Joe will certainly be missed. Great guy!
