Where do I even start? From the mall trips to the outlet runs, the nail shop visits to baking in the kitchen she was such a major part of my life growing up. Those weren’t just moments, they were memories that shaped me. And as I got older, the love never stopped. She didn’t just pour into me, she showed that same deep love to my kids too. Marion and Kahleece were at her house every other weekend like clockwork. You couldn’t tell us she wasn’t our grandma, because she was in every way that counted.
And let’s be real who else was shopping at New York & Company? Nobody! She stayed laced and made sure we were too. She kept us school-ready, sharp, and feeling confident. That was her always looking out, always making sure we had what we needed, and then some.
Her smile could light up a whole room. Her hugs felt like home. Whether she was spoiling us or just sitting and listening, she made us feel seen, loved, and important. The little things her laugh, her stories, her way of making you feel like you were her favorite those will stay with me forever.
We were truly blessed to have her in our lives, and while her physical presence will be missed beyond words, the love she gave us lives on in every memory, every tradition, and every part of who we are. Rest peacefully. We love you always.
