Kathryn Corgan Louis' Obituary
Kathryn “Kathi” Mary Corgan Louis, 49, of Charlotte, NC died peacefully at Levine & Dickson Hospice House of Huntersville, NC on Wednesday, September 10, 2014.
Kathi was born October 25, 1964 in Mineola, NY. She was the daughter of Kenneth Corgan and the late Claire Corgan. She was happiest spending time with friends and family, especially her two boys, William and Patrick. She loved to cook and considered time spent in the kitchen a treasure. She was known for her loving ways, quick wit, beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She had the voice of an angel. Most recently she was a beloved 8th grade teacher at a place she loved, St. Mark Catholic School.
She was preceded in death by her mother Claire and is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Robert; their children William and Patrick; father, Kenneth; sister, Kristina; brothers, Keith, Kyle and Kraig and many in-laws, nieces and nephews all of whom greatly loved her.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mark’s Catholic Church on Monday, September 15, 2014 at 2:00 PM.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 14, 2014 at James Funeral Home from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a Prayer Service beginning at 7:30 PM.
