Wow…Just found this tribute to Ken! The last I saw Ken was the early seventies. I often thought of Ken through the years with fondness and a smile on my face! I remember Ken as fun loving and always looking for a good time. I can vision us driving through down town Muskego in his Pontiac LeMans past the Pizza Burger restaurant, and listening to his favorite song at that time “Brandy” by the Looking Glass. Ken talked about joining the Navy while we drank Vodka Gimlets In the rec room of my childhood home!

To the entire family of Ken (Herman) Fons,
I'm so sorry for your loss. He will certainly be missed in my heart. Ken known in our circle as "The Fons" which dates back to the seventies brought a lot of energy to the table when ever we would gather. I had one wish for the past several years and that was to have met up with Ken once more. Having heard of all these accomplishments in his life it would have been a honor to acknowledge to him in person. I'm sure all of us feel the same, Jay, Garr, Pete, Sis, as well as those not mentioned. I'm sure Ken & I will share more once in the kingdom of God.

I am sorry to hear if your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting working with Hermon at the US Ope in New York. You learn a lot about someone's character when they face challenging situations- and the US Open was just that. He was extremely hard working and immediately well liked through it all. I am proud to have known him.

My family, Richard, myself, Ricky and Bryttni want to offer our condolences to your family. Herman was a great neighbor--I didn't get to talk to him as much as I would have liked, but after the times we did talk, I was always left with a smile on my face. He was a wonderful man and I feel honored to have known him. My son, Ricky, used to talk with him often and he was saddened by the news knowing, as we all do, that the summertime just won't be the same without seeing Herman working in that yard, listening to his tunes and riding around in that golf cart. We are all lucky to have the memories. Your family will remain in our thoughts during this dificult time.
