Kristin Olsen's Obituary
Kristin Olsen was born on March 27, 1986, in Logan, Utah, and passed away in her sleep on March 29, 2026. At the time of her death, she resided in Denver, North Carolina. Kristin spent a significant portion of her life in the western United States, where she pursued a degree in Environmental Engineering, having a passion for the science of aquatic ecology.
Professionally, she worked in the dental field. She had an interest in literature, enjoying a wide variety of reading materials. Kristin cherished her time spent in nature and found great joy attending Billy Strings concerts with her sister.
She is survived by her mother, Colleen Rogers, her father, Eugene Olsen (and stepmother Coleen Allred Olsen), her sisters Bonnie Olsen Bowman (married to Robert Bowman) and Jennifer Olsen Felton, her brother Kenneth Olsen (married to Janiel Olsen), as well as her step-siblings Alexander Allred (married to Bridget Allred), Nicholas Allred (married to Katie Allred), and stepsister Annabelle Allred Ingold (married to Daniel Ingold). Kristin will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by her family and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 11, 2026 from 11:00am -12:00pm at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7032 Mcilwaine Road, Huntersville. A funeral service will be held at 12:00pm following the visitation. The funeral service may be viewed via livestreaming by clicking VIEW LIVESTREAM.
