Joan, Tony and Melanie,

I wish there were words that could help reduce the pain and loss you feel right now, but I don't think they exist. I pray for the day to come when you can think of Laura, look at pictures of her, and share the wonderful memories you have of her with fewer tears and less pain.
You don't meet many young people like Laura. From a little girl to young adulthood she was ALWAYS sweet, happy and kind. She also had such determination and strength these past 5 years. What an inspiration she was.
She will be sorely missed by anyone who knew her.

Joan, I was struck by the picture of a lovely lady in the obituaries and then I was saddened to realize she was your daughter. I am so sorry for your loss. What a lovely person she was. No words can ever explain a loss like this. You must have so many lovely memories - cherish them. Please extend my heartfelt sympathy to Laura's father, sister, and other family members. You all are certainly in my prayers. You may not remember me, but we taught together a few years at G E Massey.
