I lost track of Libby over the course of time but Sparks is a good name for both Libby and Junie .. I fondly remember them as being like spark plugs for an engine, they could get things started .. my first contact with Libby was her Derita Demon cheerleading days .. we were the first team after the glory days of the Pop Warner championship team and we were green and took more licks than we gave but still had support .. condolences to family and friends on your loss .. Libby was one of the good ones and will be missed ..
Libby and I have been friends since we were three, growing up as neighbors. Through the years, we have held the same values and the same sense of humor. We shared so many fun and happy memories. I always told her I’m not sure how other people got by without “a Libby and a Junie” in their lives.
Libby was one of the friends that helped me through a tough surgery this past year. In one of our last conversations she said we would be talking about all of our ailments for another twenty years. Hold that thought, Libby. We will talk again one day and we’ll hug and we’ll laugh, just like always. I love you, my friend.

libby was one of my childhood friends growing up in Derita. We had so much fun playing in each others yards and the neighborhood for 10 years. Will always have fond memories of our lives back then! RIP Libby!
Libby was a dear friend to our family for decades. She worked with my husband, David, but she also helped us raise our 3 children! Because of her love for our sweet Catherine, we were able to travel when they were young which would not have been possible without her help. We knew they were in the safest hands. They are adults now with their own children, and they know how significant a person she has been in their lives and are deeply saddened by her passing. We shared so many laughs at birthdays and holidays and on trips. We shared some very difficult times as well, and she was always there with an open heart, and when needed, a listening ear. She is gone much too soon; we will miss her but will remember her fondly often. Thank you that in her last days we were able to tell her what her love and friendship meant to our family. We hope you all are comforted that you did all you could do to assure that she was well cared for and constantly surrounded by the love and comfort of people who loved her. She loved each one of you so much.
