Libby Sparks' Obituary
Libby DeEtta Sparks, 71, of Charlotte passed away on Monday, December 26, 2022 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.
Libby grew up in Derita and was a graduate of North Mecklenburg High School and received her Bachelor of Arts from Queens College. Libby was a Surgical Technician at Charlotte Orthopedic Hospital for over 35 years. Libby enjoyed traveling, skiing, baking, and get-togethers with friends. Libby also was a generous caregiver to her nieces, nephews, and the children of her friends and coworkers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lois and Everette Sparks.
She is survived by her sister, Junie Davis (Silas) of Huntersville; niece Noelle Small (Jonathan) of Charlotte; niece Lois Ellen Tuttle (Hayden) of Huntersville; nephew Andrew Davis (Beth) of Fort Mill; and seven great nephews and one great niece.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 2, 2023 at 12:00 pm at James Funeral Home of Huntersville with the burial to follow at Forest Lawn West in Charlotte.. The family will receive friends prior to the service at 11:00 am at the funeral home.
