My thoughts and prayers go out to Larry and the blended family that Linda and Larry both loved beyond measure.
As an “up the street” neighbor, I was blessed by being able to walk over and visit with Linda, on the Sunday mornings Larry was able to leave Linda with me, to attend church services.
But, before I arrived, he already had Linda up, fed and waiting for the Unity Presbyterian Church service to begin. He told me that Linda had fallen before, so I just needed to keep her company and prevent her from falling.
She loved listening to the pastor deliver his sermon and she loved singing along with the choir. I was very touched by this sweet woman’s demeanor and her faith.
It was during those visits that I got to see what a special person she was. Her smile was infectious! She loved to tell stories about their honeymoon trip to Europe. She spoke about her career and her beautiful family! And, she loved looking through their photo albums and telling me about each photo. Running with the bulls (cows) on their honeymoon brought laughter, but she said she was the one running! 😉
RIP Linda, you will always share space in my heart for the blessings you shared with me. Thanks for the memories!
