From my earlier memories as a child, Linda was always the “neighbor upstairs” from my grandmother who popped by every time we were in town visiting just to say hello & see how we were doing. As I got a little older, I eventually realized that Linda wasn’t just the neighbor upstairs but was a genuine friend of my grandmother who was always there for her. As I became an adult, it was very clear to me that Linda was like a second family to my grandmother and looked out for her until her final days. Even as recent as this past May when my grandmother had some minor health issues, Linda was checking in and helping her when we weren’t there. Come to find out, she was fighting her own battle that eventually took her life. To me, that speaks volumes on the type of person that she was - completely selfless and extremely kind. My grandmother was so lucky to have had that “neighbor upstairs”.
Rest in Peace Linda 🤍
