Lucy Covington McFalls, 80, of Cornelius, NC, died Monday, May 5, 2014 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC. She was born on January 6, 1934 in Davidson, NC and was the daughter of the late James Benjamin and Lottie C Read Obituary
Enjoyed knowing Lucy from the Joy Club in Cornelius. She was always caring for others. She and Lloyd had a very close relationship and I know he will miss her. Prayers for him and the children and grandchildren. She would want all of you to lean on the Lord for your comfort. Just know she will be celebrating Mother's Day in Heaven this year. God bless all of you.
Lucy had a heart as warm as her smile. I'm so thankful that I was able to get to know her through the Cancer Support Group at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center. Please know that Lloyd and the entire family are in my prayers. Blessings to all.

Jamie and Doris and all the family..I am so sorry for your loss...Death is such an enemy to the human family..And GOD knew this and left so many passages of comfort for loved ones..a few that helps me..is AT..psalms 37:29...“The righteous will possess the earth, and they will live forever on it.” ....and of course the model prayer in Mathew tells us to pray for GODS kingdom to come..or in terms today his Goverment ...that will undo all the effects of Adam and Eve..and what they lost for their off spring ..us...Your Grandmother..along with that Goverment ..with Jesus enthroned as king he will undo all things that cause us pain and suffering as Rev21: 3-4 says....“He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.” ...how wonderful of a hope your Grandmother has.. and Isaiah 65:21-22...Says...“They will build houses and live in them, and they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. They will not build for someone else to inhabit, nor will they plant for others to eat. For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree, and the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full.” ..also Isaiah ..35:5-6...“They will build houses and live in them, and they will plant vineyards and eat their fruitage. That bring comfort to me at a time as this..Isaiah 25:8...“He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” A wonderful hope for mankind..as the first thing in the Lord's Prayer says..When all mankind ....(Governed ) by the Entroned King..Jesus....teaches all of Mankind to sanctify his wonderful NAME...Jehovah.....My sympathy at this sad sad time...

To uncle Lloyd and family I'm sorry to hear about Aunt Lucy.She was a great lady.She was always so sweet and she had the nices smile.When i thank of her that is what i see.I know she will be missed.She loved her family so much.I loved seeing her at family gathering.My God be with you and all the Family.Love Robin Mcfalls Houston.
