Marcy Lahetta, 82, of Huntersville, NC, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2025. Marcy was born and raised in Michigan and lived in Ohio and New Jersey before retiring to Leland, NC with her husband Carl. She married Carl Adrian Lah Read Obituary
Marcy was the youngest of her family. I will always remember her smile and her laugh. She was one of 4 sisters who had red hair. When I was younger , I wanted to have red hair like my aunts because when they were all together they laughed a lot and had a good time. I am glad that Aunt Marcy was at her sister Marlene’s 90 th birthday party in August of 2024. It was good to see her then. To her son Michael and daughter in law Michele and her grand children, just know that you all are in my thoughts and prayers. May you know God’s peace and comfort at this time.
Marcy was the first to welcome me to Waterford summer of 2016 we came friends immediately. The Waterford Bible Study and Waterford Singles were a huge part of our life going to lunches and many fun events in Waterford. We had travel shopping days her smile, loving personality was infectious. She blessed so many thru her love for the Lord and serving where needed. She was not only my best friend but like a mom. She truly was an angel to many and I am so blessed to be part of her life.
My longest and dearest friend for over 70 years! I am so thankful that we spent a wonderful time together this past summer.
Marcy loved the Lord and I know she is
With Him now. I will cherish and never forget
all of the good times and laughter that we shared together plus the sad times when we
supported each other.Our friendship will never
be replaced but I will have our memories.
