I'm glad that I found this now I know more about my great grandma
Marjorie was my great grandma I wish I could of known her better but she died when I was a baby
Although I have not had contact with Mrs. Ashford for many years I have fond memories of her when we lived in Hunter Acres and as I was growing up. Mrs. Ashford was my Den Mother when I was in Cub Scouts and I have great memories of the many activities we had during our meetings and at Pack meetings. She was so very kind and patient with a very rowdy bunch of young boys and was so appreciated although it would take years for any of us to realize just how kind and patient she was. I do want to offer my deepest condolences to the family and especially to my friend Gary for the loss of Mrs. Ashford.
Marjorie was a sweet, gentle woman. I am blessed to have spent time with her.
Dear Aunt Margie
Thank you for so many things over my whole life. Putting up with Robin, Phyllis and I running in and out the door. All the snacks in the playhouse, the doorbell for our school ringing. The beautiful wedding shower for Johnnie and I and I am sure a thousand other things. I will miss you and I love you.
