I loved and admired Marge. I remember when she and Ted moved to Wooster. I remember when Becky was born! Marge trusted me to baby sit Becky :).....and I was only a few years older than Beck! Later on when Becky was my roommate in NYC, Marge stayed with us when attending a reading conference at New York University. We had a great time together! Marge was so bright, so non judgmental, so talented, so strong, so beautiful and sooo much fun. She lived and enjoyed every moment. A lesson for us all! ellen
Marnie and Family, We all must take comfort in knowing our Lord is in control. Know you are loved and my prayers are covering your Family. Humble
Ted and Marge were very good friends dating back to that long ago time when the Ashland Times-Gazette became a part of the Dix chain. My sympathy to you, Becky, Julie and Marnie and to the grandchildren. I shall always remember the many, many times when one or both of your parents went far out of their way to do nice things. One of my prized memories is visiting the house and hearing selections done by Ted on the piano and Marge on the organ
Marnie, you and your sisters had such wonderful, interesting parents! In sharing the loss of Marge I remember how active she and Ted were in our community, the great sense of humor they shared, and the Evans family's great love of music. I have fond memories of your mom's colorful 85th birthday party and of good times you and I shared at the learning center in Wooster. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.
Our deepest sympathies are with all the Carlson/Evans family. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
Dear Marnie, Julie & Becky, I am so sad for you in the loss of a wonderful mother, friend & grandmother. My love & prayers to all your family & may our Wonderful Lord & Savior help you through the difficult days ahead. Gods blessings to you all.
Marnie, I did not know your mom but she looks like such a nice person. We had teaching in common. I am thinking and praying for you and your family. It is especially sad when both parents have passed away. God bless you
Marne Reber and family are in my thoughts and prayers. May your Mother rest in the Eternal Light !
