Happy Birthday Mom! Today you would have been 70
It didn’t take but a few seconds upon meeting Marta to recognize her stunning beauty. However, for those of us who got to know Marta, we got to see an interior beauty that was unsurpassed. The best word to describe Marta was that she loved DEEPLY.
First and foremost, her husband, Manny, was her everything! She remained smitten with him her entire life and he was truly her best friend. She often told stories and shared pictures of her 3 boys, along with their families, whom she was so proud of and loved with all her heart. She loved her sisters at MWOJ and Opus Dei and was always learning how to become a Saint right where she was.
But most of all Marta DEEPLY loved Our Lord. She was at daily mass every morning possible. She sat at His feet in Adoration every chance she could. And we pray that’s where Marta is today…sitting at His feet in heaven lovingly adoring him for all eternity.

Un abrazo Manuel, Manuel Jr, Estuardo y Rodrigo!! Está toda la familia en mis oraciones. Momentos muy duros y difíciles lamentablemente. Mi Queridísima Marta ya está en el Cielo, y aunque la noticia me ha dolido mucho, no dejo de agradecerle a Dios la bendición de haber convivido tanto con una ejemplar y hermosa mujer. Siempre vivirá en mi corazón.
