Dee, Wayne, and Melonie,
You guys are like permanent additions to our family. And your mom was like a second mom to Lynn and Ted. In fact, she kept Lynn when Ted was born.
We've spent this weekend remembering wonderful times with you, as well as with the Scaggs. We remember tent camping at Cherokee, bike riding at Callaway Gardens, walking DOWN the Washington Monument, Ocean Isle, Chigger Ridge, the Blount Lodge, and the beach.
All of you are at the center of our memories - wonderful memories! - of the young days of our family. And always, right in the middle of everything, was the irreplaceable Martha. There are several dishes that remind us of her every time we encounter them. There are places - like Prague - that are all about her. And there was always - always - love all around her.
There still is.
We'll be thinking of you on Tuesday.
