I have no doubt, Melanie, inherited her kindness and generosity from Hoyt and Jean, who went on to pass these traits on to each of their children. She cherished her family as well as her friends and was so very proud of her nephews and nieces. Our world is a less wonderful place without her. She will be missed, every day! I am forever grateful for Melanie and the Johnston Family. Hoyt, Suzette, Wesley, Eric and your precious families are in my prayers.
Melanie was the sweetest lady! When I would run into her, she always had a smile on her face and was always pleasant. I graduated with her at West Meck Class of 72. We are planning or reunion and Melanie reached out to me and was going to try very hard to be there. She will be missed! My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.
One of the kindest and most compassionate souls ever. Wonderful memories of good times. God be with her family and friends.
So very sorry for your loss of Melonie. She was so sweet and kind and always had a smile on her face. Prayers for comfort for all of her family.

Hoyt and Family. So sad and sorry for your loss. I have thought of Melonie and prayed for her during the time of her recent health issues. We shared time together at Paw Creek Presbyterian Church many years ago. Just recently I used 2 of her recipes from the Paw Creek cookbook which our family thoroughly enjoyed. I will think of Melanie each time I serve those dishes. I do hope in the days ahead you will find peace and comfort, knowing your family has shown church and community what it’s like to be “good people”. May God bless each of you as you continue your journey. Mollie Baker
