Michael “Mike” Hillman, 73, of Huntersville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 22, surrounded by his loving wife and daughters. Born June 28, 1952, Mike was the fifth of seven children born to the late Howard Charles Hi Read Obituary
I knew Mike from growing up in the Derita
Area and Mallard Creek.
Went through grade school,Junior High and North Mecklenburg High school together.
Growing up with the Hillman’s was A treasure,So much fun!

We cannot imagine the pain and heartache you are feeling now. Mike was a special person, loved by all who knew him. I don't think I ever remember seeing him without a smile on his face. Praying for comfort and peace for all you guys.

I will miss Mike. My fondest memory of him was when my grandfather, Lee Overcash, passed away. We were at my grandparents house. Mike picked up on the fact that I was having a hard time. He invited me to go for a ride and run a quick errand to pick up some things. I just remember that he let me know that I was ok, that it was ok and that I was loved. He was a very special part of our family and will be missed.
