I must write this "to Morris" because that is where my heart is most - my friend who reminded me so much of my own sensitive, talented, intelligent father. Morris, you were my friend from the earliest days of my "adult" life - college. You were then my "intellectual buddy" with whom I had SUCH great fun - like when we decorated the square's "Mountain Man" with our current literature theme "Big Brother is Watching You"! You wrote me on the back of your freshman picture that you were certain we would remain friends for some time to come and you signed it "Your brother in Christ". And that indeed was true, as we were friends to the present. I treasured you and your kindred life of giving to others and thoughtful intelligence whether we were in touch often or off and on through the years. You were and will always be one of my most special friends of life. I am beyond shocked and saddened by your unexpected and young Homegoing. Happy for you in where you are, but so, so, so very sad for the rest of us - the very large family of blood kin, loved ones, and friends you easily acquired and stayed faithful to through the decades. I, like us all, love you, miss you, and will forever keep you in my heart. God be with all who were close to you. You cannot be replaced in our lives. R.I.P., dear friend - see you on the other side. Love, Kay
