So sorry the hear about this Dianne. Me n Lloyd go way back to the 60's when we moved to Huntersville. Lloyd & Johnny Dellinger played me n Mike Raper a "short" football game at the Alexander football field. We hadn't played more that 5 minutes til I tackled Johnny D & broke my own arm. We had a lot of fun back then. Lloyd was always so kind & gentle (but he did steal one of my girlfriends back in the day too)! Rest in peace ol buddy.
Dianne, my deepest sympathies to you. I am heartbroken that you have lost your husband. You made a lasting impact on my life while we worked together at First Union. You blessed me with a baby shower at work and helped me with daycare by introducing me to Alice. You were a friend and mentor to me. I loved the tribute video. As I have struggled to process the loss of Lloyd, my mind is transported to simpler times when we all were young with our entire lives before us. Lloyd was a life long friend, a kind and gentle man. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and cared for him. My prayers are with his family during this difficult time.
