Oliver Lloyd Johnston Jr.'s Obituary
Oliver Lloyd Johnston, Jr. 72, of Huntersville died September 19, 2023. Lloyd was born on August 16, 1951 in Mecklenburg County to the late Oliver Lloyd Johnston, Sr. and Annie Cromer Johnston.
Lloyd spent his career in financial services. He was an avid Panthers fan and loved restoring classic cars and cruising in one of his ’57 Chevys. Lloyd was a lifelong member of Huntersville First Baptist Church. He was known for his gentle and kind spirit.
Survivors include his wife Dianne Rankin Johnston; daughter, Connie Johnston and husband Tim Cababa and their daughter Simone of Charlotte; son, Nathan Johnston of Huntersville; and sisters, Gwen Howard and Linda Johnston.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 25 at First Baptist Church- Huntersville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A reception will immediately follow burial.
Memorials may be made to Huntersville First Baptist Church.
