Patricia Anderson's Obituary
Patricia Ryan Anderson, 91, of Cornelius, formerly of Westerville, Ohio, died August 31, 2025. Patricia was born on September 15, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa and is preceded in death by her husband, John “Jack” Anderson and parents, Samuel and Emily Mannion Ryan and her sister Margaret Ryan.
Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Strickland (Wes) of Cornelius and Christine King (Alan) of Cornelius; grandchildren Riley, Catherine (Liz), and Marie Strickland, and great grandson Addison Strickland, Nicholas (June) and Emily King. Patricia put her family first in all things - she was affectionally nicknamed by her grandchildren as Tushy, GDig, and GG.
She planned wonderful birthday and holiday celebrations that included favorite home cooked meals, a beautifully set table, and wrapped gifts that were done with such care and love. She was the biggest supporter of the family in all we did - work, sports, and everyday life. We will truly miss her. Before her marriage she was proud of her extended travel to Europe on the Queen Mary and her time living with her sister in New York City. She also enjoyed working at the state capital in Columbus,Ohio and with Ryan and Duffy Homes.
The family was blessed with some amazing caregivers - thank you so much to Shannon, Sarah, Roberta, and Doreen and also the team at Amada Senior Care. All of these ladies were outstanding and compassionate. To Indira for her special attention and time and Davina who always made her feel and look beautiful.
