Paul "Gene" Pritchard,'s Obituary
Paul “Gene” Pritchard, Jr., 77, of Charlotte, NC passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte.
He was born on March 17, 1940 in Charlotte and was the son of the late Paul Eugene and Helen Ramsey Pritchard. He graduated from Central High School in 1958, was a retired plumber with T.R, Lawing Realty Company of Charlotte, and a member of Hunter Acres Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Claree Baucom Pritchard; two sons, Paul Pritchard, III of Iron Station, NC and Scott Pritchard of Charlotte; a sister, Barbara Hough of Mint Hill; two grandchildren Greg and Megan Pritchard. He was preceded in death by a sister, Helaine Marie Pritchard.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2018, at 2:00 PM, at Hunter Acres Baptist Church with Rev. Donald E. Newell officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to service, 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, in church sanctuary.
