Allyson Waldrop
Paulette was my dear friend for many years. We worked together at Smith Helms, and Moore & Van Allen. We had many great times and lots of laughter. I shared in her sorrow when Laramie passed away. I always loved that name, and was pregnant at the time. I asked Paulette if I had a girl would she mind if I named her Laramie. She said she would be honored; however, I had a boy. I hadn’t planned to have other children; however, one year and two weeks after having my son, our Laramy was born on April 4, 1995. When she was old enough to understand, I told her where her name came from and shared pictures that Paulette had given me of Laramie. I will never forget Paulette, she was a special lady. She had the most beautiful smile and sweet demeanor. I’m so sorry that I am just hearing about her passing and couldn’t offer any comfort at the time. My prayers are with you Ken, Wendy, Jeff & Justin.
