Most the day I have sat here trying to come up with the right words to say to express my feelings about losing Larry. Larry was a co worker, he was a friend, he was family. Our relationship was not one dimensional there were times we didn’t agree. He loved a certain kind of music, I hated it. I have certain ideologies he disagreed with, and I him. He was quiet and unassuming. I, loud and in your face.
That being said there are many more things I found endearing about Larry. His vending machine lunches, his creative side, the links he would send with interesting websites, his nerdiness, his humor, but mostly his love for his family. His goodbye for the day was always hurried as he ran out the door to pick up his daughter from school. He talked of the girls nonstop.
Janna, please know we are here for you and the girls if there is anything you ever need.
Larry, I miss you already.
