I have so many stories I could share about Mr. Reg but what I want people to know is what a hero he was to me. No matter the battle he was facing he always had a smile to share and a story to tell. If he was in any pain I would have never know because he would make sure to come and socialize with my daughter and I. He shared so much wisdom, kindness and love with us that it never felt like work and thrived on giving me a hardtime as well as many nicknames, like "broom hilda". He sense of humor was entertaining and we shared a lighthearted bantering that can never be replaced. Not only did he tell stories he listened, he wanted to know about us and our lives and family. He knew all our triumphs and heartaches and graciously gave advice. My daughter whom he referred to as " the princess" adored him. He awoke something inside her that she thought died along time ago and for that I am forever grateful. He was my best buddy and he took a chunk of my heart with him. I am honored God brought him into my life and will carry him with me forever. Mr. Reg I miss you and love you to pieces. Thank you for being you and not only becoming my best buddy but also my family. Until we meet again...with all my love " The other Joellen" :)
I have attached a picture of my daughter and Mr. Reg on one of their many outings! Her favorite part of the week and If I had to guess, one of his favorites too..
