Mr. Richard “Dick” Carpenter Rudisill Sr, 92, of Davidson, passed away Saturday March 3, 2018 peacefully at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, North Carolina. Dick was born on February 2, 1926 to the late David and Mary Cel Read Obituary
Thinking of you all during this difficult time! Your Dad was a very wonderful man. I use to enjoy his phone calls and will always remember his thoughtful spirit! He was so very proud of his children and granddaughter Elizabeth! I loved to hear all of the wonderful stories he shared with how everyone was doing! So thankful him and Francis are reunited again! You all are in my thoughts and prayers!

We didn’t know him personally but felt a strong affinity with him due to his age and how that relates to my mother who is 91 and often asked you, and your fathers well being.
Just want you to know that we are thinking about you and your family in England at this time.

I’m sorry I’m unable to attend Dick’s memorial service. We are in Florida. I visited your dad at Genesis twice in the last 6 weeks when I was in Charlotte and said my good bye to him then. At my last visit he seemed very much at peace. I so enjoyed Dick’s friendship, our walks & short trips together. My condolences to the family for the loss of a good man.
