Richard Drennan's Obituary
Richard "Dick" Drennan, 88 of Huntersville, NC passed away peacefully with his children by his side on January 24, 2021. He was born on February 7, 1932 to the late Vance and Lillian Drennan in the Town of Kingsville, Ontario in Canada.
He served for 6 years in the US Army and was a Korean Ex-Prisoner of War for over 27 months. He worked in construction for 21 years and later retired from the US Postal Service at the age of 71. He loved spending time with his family & friends, taking road trips, playing and watching golf as well as learning about history, especially US History.
He is preceded in death by his beautiful wife Patricia Ann Drennan and his three older siblings, JD, Mary and Ginnie.
Survivors include his son Cam Drennan and wife Kristi of Huntersville; daughter, Shelly Cobb and husband Steve of Huntersville; and grandchildren, Eric, Alex, Megan, Anna and Cameron.
Services are being planned for later this year in Michigan.
