Robert Cashner's Obituary
Robert (Bob) Alan Cashner, 66, of Charlotte, NC, died September 9th at the Levine & Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC. He was born on March 6, 1946 in Painesville, OH to the late Russell and Margaret Cashner. Bob was a Senior Vice President with Wells Fargo's Corporate Properties team. He had over 40 years experience supporting the financial industry.
Bob received his bachelor's degree from Purdue University. He has his master's from the University of Rochester. Also, he completed Duke University - Fuqua School of Business Senior Management Development Program. Bob was an avid runner and completed 6 full marathons throughout his lifetime. He also enjoyed outdoor activities, traveling, reading, fishing and golf. Bob was a very kind, loving husband, father, and friend. He was always known and admired for his everlasting smile and positive mental attitude. Bob truly loved life and tried to live each day to its fullest.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Cashner, his first wife, Carol Ann Kosturick Cashner and his current wife Mary Glenda Cashner who passed on March 30, 2012. They were happily married for 35 years.
Survivors include his daughters, Sonya Cashner of Allentown, PA, Shayna Cashner of Huntersville, NC and step-daughter, Siroui Mushegian of New York, NY, granddaughter, Maxine Meurer and his brother and sister in law Ronald and Janice Cashner of Crossville, TN.

A memorial service for Robert and Glenda will be held at 4 PM Wednesday, September 12, at James Funeral Home, 10520 Arahova Dr., Huntersville, NC with a reception following in the James Funeral Home Community Room.
