My brother Bob was my best friend. We bonded from the beginning. With all our ups and downs we always managed to get through it. He always had a way with words to comfort me when it was needed, and things didn't seem as bad.
I will miss our phone calls, our laughing and crying together.
He always said "hi Ang, this is your brother". Laughed every time. I saved his voicemailso I can hear his voice whenever I want.
I love you so much Bob, and will be immensely missed! My heart hurts.

Dad, I dont know how to go forward without you. Your impact on my life has been immeasurable. I thank you for being a remarkable father and friend. Your tireless efforts to provide for me have always been a blessing, and I will carry the lessons you taught me throughout the rest of my life, always remembering you with the utmost love and appreciation.
Dear Dad, thank you for being such a wonderful father and grandfather. You sacrificed and did everything for us. You suffered so much these last 5 to 10 years, but we know you are at peace with your mom and dad, Jesus, and The Lord. We love you and miss you so much, but we will all be together again one day. Robert, Alma, John and Victoria.
Bobby is my cousin, his Mom Aunt Fanny and my Mom Millie are sisters , when were were kids most of the cousins were pretty much close in age, when the family got together which was pretty often, we would have "more fun than a barrel of moneys" as our parents would say, Bobby was part of the big boys who got to do some of things us younger ones couldn't , like continue to play outside when it got dark out, go further up Parker St. and not be right near the front stoop of the house.
All of us cousins always had the best fun times. Im sorry life doest keep family together forever, but from what I know Bobby had good family , good friends and Im sure a good life. Thanks for being part of some of my favorite memories Bobby. May you rest in peace for eternity.
Growing up in a big Italian (extended) family. All the cousins were very close! My Mom, Aunt Millie and Aunt Fannie were especially close, so we got to see a lot of our cousins. Summers in Mahopac, Lake Osceola, Lake Hopatcong were fun times for all.
Well, time passes, life happens and you loose track of the people in your life, as we did. You always know they are there and never think it will come to an end.
Here is a picture of “the cousins” taken at Easter in the 1950’s.
Our families lived across the street from each other. Cousin “Bobby” tucked way in back (upper right).
Some great memories along the way.
Rest in Peace
Love~
Your Cousin, MaryAnn
I met Bob in 1968; we both been discharged from the military and went back to our old job as Meter Readers at Con Edison. We immediately became good friends. I was called to the FDNY and convinced Bob to accept a new position as a NYC Fireman. We were blessed with the greatest job ever and have remained close friends since then. God Bless Bob on his journey 10-4 Brother...Ray Callinan
