I was thinking about Benjy's birth day and thought to look you up, and then sadly found Pat's obituary. I'm so very sorry to read the news. What a special person he was, with a smile that could light up the universe.

I am so glad I got to meet Patrick in December. His peaceful spirit and sense of humor were obvious along with the love the family had for each other. We were honored to be able to spend that time with you all. I know he will be sorely missed and my deepest sympathies to the entire family.
A life well lived...Pat Sheehy made the world a better place. He made us want to be a better person. If only we all smiled half as much as he did. The world is a bit darker without the light of our noble, brave Pat. He accepted all burdens of life with grace, humor and always wearing a smle, just as he accepted the joys life brought him. His life and death is an example to us all. There is a big hole in the hearts of his immediate and extended family.
