Roberta Triebe Sell's Obituary
Roberta (Bobbie) Sell, age 81, died on Saturday, September 15, 2018 while at the Brian Center Health and Retirement Community in Concord.
Bobbie was born in Chicago, but lived all over the United States and Canada. She was married for more than 62 years to Don Sell and was the mother of Kimberly Keener (Barney) of Wisconsin and Brian Sell (Donna) of Georgia; grandmother of Madison, Chandler and Dawson Sell; and she was proud of and loved them deeply. She is also survived by brothers, John and Richard and sisters, Carol and Linda.
Bobbie was a master gardener, great cook and active volunteer. She was past president of the women's golf group at Cowan's Ford Country Club and Mooresville Golf Club. She organized and chaired the East Lincoln Relay for Life and two tournaments to benefit Breast Cancer research.
A service to celebrate Roberta's life will be held at Lake Norman Lutheran Church, 1445 N. Highway 16, Denver at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The family will receive friends in the Fellowship Hall one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lake Norman Lutheran Church.
