Though we just met last week at the Harrisburg YMCA, you made such a positive impact on my life in a very short time. I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your beloved brother; you and your family are definitely in my thoughts and prayers. May the Holy Spirit comfort and strengthen you during this challenging time and grant you peace as God wipes every tear from your eyes (Revelation 21:4).

I knew Rodney from our college days at Fredonia, he was a great friend. Lots of great memories from our time there. I'll always remember his smile, his kindness and his wonderful sense of humor. My deepest sympathies to his family, my heart breaks for you all. A wonderful person gone way too soon! Rest In Peace Rod!
My lasting memory of Rod will be his smile. He was always smiling! I haven't seen him in years (we went to Sweet Home together) but we frequently connected on Facebook, bragging about our Yankees. There are no words really for when a young man such as Rod goes to be with the Lord. But the one thing I know for sure is that God has a plan, and we always need to be faithful to this. Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
It has been years since I have spent time with Rodney, we went to Fredonia together, and even though I have not seen his face in person in some years, the memory of his smile is permanent. What a great human, always happy and warmed my life, as I’m sure he did so many others. Lucky to have known him, devastated at the loss of him from this world and his family. Modern technology Haas enabled so many of us to stay in touch, see pictures of our current lives and be a small part of each other’s lives still. My heart breaks for his beautiful family. Rest In Peace.
My sincerest condolences to Rod's family and closest friends during this very difficult time. I didn't know Rod extremely well during our time together at Fredonia but, our interactions were always positive. He was just a cool dude...period. Rest well, Rod.
Devistated. Stunned. Shocked. Saddened. The words seem pale compaired to the loss of a larger than life person like Rod. There will be no way to fill the whole that this leaves in our hearts. We weep for our loss, but more, we weep for the wonderful family that you leave behind; especially your beautiful, remarkable wife Bethzadia and you precious, baby boy Blake.
Fly now Rod to that special place in heaven saved for the beautiful, remarkable treasure of a soul that tou always were.
