The man who I affectionately call dad who always treated me as one of his own. Writing this absolutely pains me as it somehow makes it more real. The memories, the love, the strength, the protection, the humor and the strongest deepest voice I’ve ever heard…. Oh what a beautiful life. I thank God for allowing me to be considered as family it is truly an honor. You certainly made your mark on my heart dad and for that I’m forever grateful. Saying goodbye isn't for us. Instead, I will say that I look forward to seeing my friend Mr. Romus again, I remember when meeting him through my daughter Dawn, and our friendship took off from that point. I have many fond memories with the Myers family growing up in Willingboro, NJ. The bus rides to church in Philly, his grumpy voice, his love for his family and treating me like his own.
