It’s very sad to hear of Roy’s passing. He was a good neighbor and friend to the two of us. He was always kind and willing to help. Our sympathy to the family. Roy will be greatly missed.
It was with tremendous sadness that I heard about this. Carol and I send our heartfelt feelings and emotions to the entire family. What a great man!
My sincere condolences to James, Myra, and Lisa. Mr Fortner was a fine man and a good friend of my Father and Grandfather. He was the Ford dealer in Huntersville and my family was the Chevrolet dealer. He was a great man and a big part of my life.
I have many fond memories of Roy. He had an enchanting smile and when you looked into his eyes, you felt like he had all the wisdom of the ages. He was quick witted and always had a good joke to tell. I am saddened by his passing. My condolences to the family.
So sorry to hear about your father. I know you will miss him dearly. My prayers go out to your family during this difficult time and hope that you will find comfort and peace.
What a charming, kind and courageous man. I thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to get to know Mr. Fornter during his visits to the funeral home. His was the last of what was truly the Greatest Generation. Godspeed Mr. Fortner.
