Ruben McIntosh's Obituary
Ruben Troy McIntosh, 78, of Davidson died May 16, 2017 at the Levine and Dickson Hospice House. He was born on May 4, 1939 in Gaston County to the late Henry and Mabel McIntosh. He worked as a plumber for Davidson College for 45 years. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and a faithful member of the Williams Masonic Lodge #176.
Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 57 years Marlene McIntosh; sons, Darin and wife Amy of Davidson and Todd and wife Kathy of Harrisburg; daughter, Christina MacQueen and husband Heath of Kannapolis; brothers, Richard McIntosh of Troutman and Raymond McIntosh of Mooresville and 4 grandchildren, Andrew Russell, Carson McIntosh, Logan MacQueen and Christian MacQueen; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Kevin and brother RH McIntosh.
Memorials may be made to Hopewell Baptist Church, the Alzheimer’s Foundation or the Levine and Dickson Hospice House.
The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:30 at Hopewell Baptist Church on Friday, May 19. The funeral will follow at 3:30 PM with Sammy Pierce officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with masonic rites.
