My grandfather was a great man. I miss him dearly. And memaw she misses him dearly as well. We know he is with Jesus. Also I want to thank everyone on here for the beautiful memories you have shared about my grandpa. Thank you and God bless you. Amen
Sam’s parents and my parents were friends in New York. Our families have stayed connected even in California. I will always remember his sense of humor . I m sorry for your loss Betty. Sally Allenby
I met Sam Fuller in 1969 when I started working at WBTV and we’ve been friends ever since working in the broadcast TV business. We had a nickname for each other I will dearly miss hearing. Our world is less fun now that he’s gone. Loved him like a brother. My deepest sympathies to Betty, his angel wife, and family. Sam was the best.
He was a special kinda man and would greet U with a smile and some kinda joke.... He was a giver not a taker and Loved his entire family and many friends. lt was my pleasure to have been included in that group and as an adopted member of "The Good Ol Fuller Boys" netwrk. He was truly the Salt of the earth and am proud to have been included in his life, gonna miss ya Pappa Sam.
Sam had befriended me when I went to work in Charlotte and WBT as a new salesman. He was so encouraging to me and during my short time in Charlotte, Sam would invite me several times to his home for a wonderful dinner with Betty and his family.
In later years, when Sam was selling syndication and I was "a station guy" attending NAPTE, Sam and I would reminisce about our time at Jefferson Pilot. He was a gentleman, a mentor, and a friend. My heartfelt condolences to Betty and all of Sam's family. Rest in peace, my friend.
We grew up together . My parents and Mr and Mrs. Fuller lived around the corner . I told my 91 year old father about this and he was saddened. And he told me a joke that Mr. Fuller told . ( again my 91 year young dad remembers it . Our hearts go out to the family .
OH MY ACHING HEART.......we lost an amazing human being & a true LIGHT when Sammy went home.....and yes we grieve, but not like those who have no hope. Sammy suffers no more and I see him rejoicing with his loved ones who went before him. Sammy was someone I fell in love with the first time I met him......He could always make me laugh till my sides hurt. The love between Sam & Betty was so apparent, it was tangible. I was blessed, honored & grateful to call them my friends. May our precious friend rest in peace and know that he was loved and cherished. Till we meet again, Sammy ❤️❤️❤️ Nancy Jo
