I will always cherish the precious memories of our growing up years. Saturday nights was always a get together with our cousins as they came to our grandpa's house. From catching lightning bugs, to hide and seek, you name it we were always entertained. In later years after moving to Alabama, we always tried to visit Shirley on our visit to Charlotte,my wife Gloria would always wait no matter how much her hair needed cutting, would say I'm waiting to let Shirley cut it. We will miss her and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to her family on their loss.
