Oh Ted…..where do I start? I cried so hard when Chris delivered the bad news. It’s been so long since you left California, and even though Chris was the one who went to high school with you, you and I developed an amazing friendship and kept in touch all these years. You always kept me updated on your medical issues, but this one shocked me! I already miss you and our conversations…. Especially those about our Labradors! I looked at my phone and our last conversation was January 10th, which then also made me realize this would be the first year I missed your birthday. 🥺
Your body has been through so much, RIP and give puppy kisses to all of our labbies up there at the rainbow bridge.
I can honestly say, I never meet a more kind, and positive person than Ted. He always had a smile on, and something good to say. I know he faced health issues, but he was always upbeat and positive. I never heard the man say an unkind word about anyone. He was a positive roll model to anyone that knew him. I wish I could learn to have more of the outlook, and attitude that Ted was able carry effortlessly. I always enjoyed speaking to Ted about dogs, FJ Cruisers, guns, you name it. God speed friend.
Ted and I go way way back to Discount tire days. Ted started with me in San Marcos Ca and we worked together there for awhile and as time went on Ted decided to move to NC with DTC and pursue his career and things turned to ATD and ironically one day out of the blue Ted calls me and asks me if I am interested in working for ATD as I had left DTC also. We had stayed in contact through the years but when we were reconnected with ATD we met in Washington DC and would always get together when I was in NC. I truly love Ted and the times we shared and all the fun and laughter. This has been rough for me and I apologize for taking so long to send a message. Ill sure miss you Ted and I promise Ill see you on the other side.
Ted thank you for your grace and authentic conversations so many that I cherish your humility And know I’ll do the exact toast in German with a Hofbrau… as promised! My life was made better by knowing you allowed me to be your friend- blessings to the beautiful family~ Always the light~ Torrie
Thinking of you and your family. May your happy memories give you peace and comfort during this challenging time. Ted was a beautiful person inside and out.
I've only known my cousin from when we were little, I'm wishing I'd have been able to known him as adults.
Life is short, and he's absolutely 💯 correct when he said; make the most out of life, and appreciate it as there's always someone out there who has it worse than you..my thoughts, and prayers to the family, and friends of Teddy Tierno, my cousin,,,,,although we haven't seen each other in about 40years,,,my heart is broken, I'm deeply saddened from such a loss....he will be missed 😢
All my Love Albert.....
I’m and so sorry to see this. Ted was definitely one of the nicest people I have ever met. Many good memories as we grew up together. RIP my friend.
