I am so sorry for your loss. I worked with Grace at the Cabarrus County Health Department but did not know Chip personally. However, my mother-in-law who had suffered a stroke and recovered enough to start driving again did know him. She was always very nervous and flustered when she would have to get her driver's license until she met Chip. He was so nice and patient with her and set her at ease enough that she did pass the test. After that she would always ask for him! It is always the small kindnesses that really show the measure of the person. We will all suffer that loss.
