Mr. Thomas Parker, 77, of Hendersonville and recently Charlotte, passed away Thursday, June 8, 2017. Tom was a native of Youngstown, Ohio and moved to North Carolina, after living in Florida for 30 years, to work for Dean Witter. Read Obituary

I am so terribly sorry for your loss. You and your family will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers. I pray god gives you strength during this tough time. In the short period I knew Tom, it was very apparent he was not only a wonderful man, but also a wonderful father. Please let me know if anyone needs anything!

Our deepest condolences to Nancy and family. We have such fond memories of Tom. We will always treasure in our hearts and minds (and videos) the wonderful time we had with both of you on our way to Myrtle Beach. Tom was such a great host and a wonderful cook. Actually Tom was the first one to introduce me to asparagus and made me eat it! And I liked it! No other asparagus can compare to Tom's! I will always remember him as a kind and generous man. I also look forward to seeing him one day in heaven. God's word gives us hope in times like this saying that it is better to be absent from the body and present with the Lord.
